Vaclav Havel Finishes His First Film

 Former Czech Republic president, playwright and new director Vaclav Havel has finished shooting his first film. He wrote the main female role for his wife, Dagmar Havel.
The film is a cinematic version of Havel's "Leaving,"
which depicts the dismal fate of the ruler of an unnamed country who has been driven from power. The play that was staged in 2008.
"I've been quite surprised with how everything works," he told the BBC. "I come up with an idea. I tell the person standing next to me about it and the next day we're filming it. It certainly wasn't like that when I held political office."
